The total package, the dialogue, the story, the way the art creates the mood, is just unbelievable. I mean,if you were impressed by early <I>X files</I> (and woefully disappointed by the later stuff), you'll appreciate the way the Powers team can combine simple elements into something really special. (That analogy probably isn't really fair to Powers but it's the best I could find on my lunch hour :) ) Besides, most non-comics readers have seen at least one XF episode.
